I Wanna Be a Christmas Present
I wanna be a Christmas present
I wanna make someone smile
I want some child to wish for me
I wanna have lots of ribbons
I wanna be wrapped in style
I wanna be under the Christmas tree
I wanna be dreamed about for maybe a month or two
I wanna go with a really big family
I’ll go with you
Maybe there’s a kid out there who’s looking for a toy that’s not brand new
Well, that’s right up my alley, I’m looking for that kid too
I wanna feel the Yuletide spirit
I wanna sing Christmas songs
I’m gonna be happy come what may
I wanna take a ride with Santa
I wanna be on his sleigh
I wanna be a part of Christmas Day
I wanna wake up with a lot of new friends
In a house where happiness never ends
I wanna be a Christmas toy someday
I wanna be a Christmas present
I wanna make someone smile
I want some child to wish for me
I wanna take a ride with Santa
I wanna be on his sleigh
I wanna be a part of Christmas Day
I wanna wake up with a lot of new friends
In a house where happiness never ends
I wanna be a Christmas toy
Yeah!
Don’t forget me

About the carol I Wanna Be a Christmas Present
“I Wanna Be a Christmas Present” is a Christmas song recorded by Kenny Rogers. The song takes a playful approach to holiday themes by imagining the idea of becoming a special gift during Christmas.
The song uses the idea of a Christmas present as a symbol of love and affection. Rather than focusing only on physical gifts, it presents the desire to bring happiness and joy to someone special during the holiday season.
Kenny Rogers’ warm country style gives the song a cheerful and charming atmosphere. Its connection to Christmas comes from its playful use of gift-giving traditions and the emotional meaning behind presents. “I Wanna Be a Christmas Present” represents the lighter and more imaginative side of Christmas music.
