Angels from the realms of glory
Angels from the realms of glory
Wing your flight over all the earth
Ye who sang creation′s story
Now proclaim Messiah’s birth
Gloria, gloria
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, gloria, gloria
Saints before the altar bending
Watching long in hope and fear
Suddenly the lord, descending
In his temple shall appear
Though an infant now we view him
He shall fill his Father′s throne
Gather all the nations to him
Every knee shall then bow down
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria Deo…

About the carol Angels from the realms of glory
“Angels from the Realms of Glory” is a traditional Christmas hymn performed by The Piano Guys featuring Peter Hollens. The hymn was written by James Montgomery in 1816 and has become a well-known Christmas carol.
The song focuses on the angels announcing the birth of Jesus and calling people to worship. It reflects the biblical story of the Nativity and emphasizes themes of praise, wonder and celebration.
The Piano Guys and Peter Hollens bring a modern arrangement to the traditional hymn. Its connection to Christmas comes from its focus on the birth of Christ and the angelic announcement in the Christmas story. “Angels from the Realms of Glory” represents the classic worship tradition of Christmas music.
